About Me

My name is Hubert Zhou and I recently graduated from the University of Waterloo for Mechatronics Engineering ( Class of 2024 ).

I've always wanted to be an engineer because I wanted to make a tangible difference in the world around me. Granted there are many ways to do that but the tech industry really inspired me growing up. That, coupled with my general love for coding, physics, and math made engineering and mechatronics the obvious choice.

Being in the co-op program at Waterloo allowed me to explore many different industries from biomedical devices to semiconductors to automotive ethernet to smart home devices. I have geared a lot of my experience towards embedded systems and lower-level coding languages such as C, C++, and Rust.
